Description
Goji berries have long been a staple in Chinese traditional medicine. It is one of the very few ingredients that is considered to be both food and medicine. Modern science is now showing the quantitative evidence of what was known long ago.
Of course there is nothing wrong to eat these beautiful fat and chewy berries just as is. Traditionally, goji berries are brewed as tea or put in soups and porridge.
Put half of a handful of these berries in your favorite tea pot and pour hot water, let it brew for 5 minutes, and a delightful and barely sweet herb tea is ready to drink. The best part…you can eat the berries after drinking the tea.
Another delicious way to drink goji berry tea is to add a few goji to your favorite green tea and cold brew it. In winter, add a handful of goji with slices of ginger to brew a great tasting ginger berry tea.
