Alishan High Mountain Oolong.
This is the traditional multiple awards winning Ali Shan Oolong direct from our Nantou Farm. This Ali Shan Oolong is grown at an altitude of 1000m above sea level. Whole leaf and hand picked in the traditional one bud two leaves fashion, this is a delicious drinking oolong that will stand up to multiple brewing.
Ali Shan oolong brews to a light honey color, fragrant and creamy with nice milky and buttery sweet undertone. Capable of multiple brewing.
Brewing Instruction: 3g (about 1 teaspoon) of tea per 1 cup (250ml) of hot boiling water. Let brew for 3 minutes. Strain & enjoy. Subsequent brews will require longer and longer brewing time.
Alternatively, you can do a 1 second of the tea in hot boiling water to bloom the tea prior to brewing.
Storage Instruction: Store in a tightly sealed bag or container away from moisture, light, or strong smell. Once opened, use within a year.
Cold brewing: Sure. But this is really not the oolong to use. This is a great oolong that does not require cold brewing to discourage any bitterness or astringency.
